Accessibility Statement
Garage Builders Augusta wants every homeowner planning a garage to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive tools. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the benchmark we design against, and the work continues as the site changes.
If any page, form or map on the site gets in your way, tell us by phone or email and we will work on a fix. You can also give us your garage project details by phone instead of using a form.
Everyone planning a garage should be able to use this website, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone or screen magnification. This statement covers how Garage Builders Augusta works toward that and what to do if something stops you.
Our Commitment
Accessibility is part of how we design and review every page, and it never stops at a single audit. Any barrier we spot, or that a visitor reports, goes on our list to fix.
The Standard We Work Toward
We measure this site against Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. Accessibility testing never truly ends, so we make no claim of full or certified conformance, yet those guidelines shape every design and build decision on this site.
What We Have Built In
- Headings in a logical order, with links that describe their destination
- Alt text on every image that carries meaning, and a visible label on each form field
- Color contrast on text and buttons checked against WCAG Level AA
Known Limitations
Screen readers do not always handle our interactive town maps well. Every town pinned on a map also appears as a plain text link on the same page, so no town page depends on the map.
The map embedded on our contact page is a convenience only. That page also shows our phone number and email address as plain text.
How to Report a Problem
Describe the page and the task that gave you trouble, and we will look into a fix. Reach us by the phone number or email address listed on this website, or through our contact page.
Other Ways to Reach Us
A form that does not work for you should never stop your project, so call us instead. Over the phone we can take down your garage details and book a visit to your lot.
Updates to This Statement
